Determine the Appropriate Number of Center Supports
Use the adjacent chart to determine the number of center supports suggested for a sign containing the listed number of characters in one continuous row. Add extra center supports as necessary for windy or high traffic locations, for example, near the front door of a restaurant.Determine the Center of Your Sign To install one center support, build your SpellBrite sign and find the horizontal center of the sign using a tape measure. Next, identify the letter to letter joint closest to the center of your sign. This is where you will install your SpellBrite Hang Tab on the top rail. The sign shown below is a 16 character sign. The suggested chain support points are identified by the black hooks (16 characters = 1 center support). If installing multiple center supports, space the center supports equally along the length of the sign.
You can enter up to 20 letters per row with these characters: A-Z, 0-9, $, %, &, !, apostrophe, hyphen, period and space. Click “Add a Row to This Sign” to create a multi-row sign. Click a previous line to edit or delete it.
Multi-Row Sign vs. Multiple Signs:
A multi-row sign includes accessories to power and hang the sign rows directly below each other. Often one power supply will power multiple rows using row-to-row jumper cables. If you want multiple signs to place in different areas or windows, but order a multi-row sign, you will likely not have enough power supplies. To ensure the appropriate accessory and power supply configuration, create each sign individually and add them to your shopping cart separately.
Each sign row is 6.25” high. We typically hang multi-rows signs together with hooks and hangs tabs which results in 2.5” between each row, but, as long as the cords reach, you can vary the distance between rows as desired.
The necessary components are being added to complete your sign.
